Your Team, Your Impact

As a System Level Electrical Validation Engineer at Marvell, you’ll be helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances. This team performs analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. We also validate silicon photonics, do upper electronic measurements and support the coherent digital signal programming unit. This is a niche area at Marvell, working with cutting edge technologies used by many internal and external customers around the world.

What You Can Expect

• Execute and develop comprehensive functional testing of high‑bandwidth Ethernet switching silicon systems to verify proper behavior, adherence to required specifications and performance across all spec defined conditions.
• Drive the debug of complex switching silicon and system platforms with a strong emphasis on Layer‑1 l issues, including link up flows, state of the art SerDes, signal integrity, link stability, and analog front‑end behavior.
• Work closely with software developers, hardware design engineers, architects, and operations teams to investigate system‑level issues and accelerate root‑cause identification.
• Stay current with modern automation tools, validation methodologies, and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance existing validation flows and efficiency
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields and 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Experience with automation and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes, equalization technique.
• 5+ years’ experience with High Speed IO testing, debugging and validation Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of automated systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  
  

Advantages

• Deep understanding of L1/L2 Ethernet layers and standards.
• Memory ,PCIe and Ethernet sysems interfaces knowledge.
• Hand-on test and validation experience of analog/digital & signal/power integrity using lab equipment such as: high speed oscilloscopes, BERT analyzer, TDR/VNA, etc.
• Familiar with board CAD tools including Cadence & Allegro.
