Description:

Zafran is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance team and take full ownership of the company’s financial operations and reporting function, with broad exposure to core accounting processes, subsidiaries, and cross-functional stakeholders. As our Financial Controller, you'll own the financial infrastructure of a fast-scaling cybersecurity company. This isn't a maintenance role - it's a builder role. You'll design, implement, and embed financial processes across the organization, bringing structure and clarity as we grow.

What you will do:

• Design and implement scalable financial processes across accounting, reporting, and controls - from scratch where needed
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and continuously improve their efficiency and accuracy
• Build and embed internal control frameworks to ensure compliance and financial integrity
• Own financial reporting (P&L, BS, and CF) and deliver actionable insights to leadership
• Drive the optimization of ERP and finance systems
• Prepare annual financial statements and tax reports
• Manage and monitor accounting processes across the company and its subsidiaries
• Manage vendor and government payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
• Support the bookkeeper in all day-to-day aspects to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Work closely with the external auditors
  
  

• CPA with 4+ years of experience - Big 4 background strongly preferred
• Proven track record of building and implementing financial processes in a high-growth tech or SaaS company
• Hands-on experience with ERP implementation or finance system rollouts
• Deep knowledge of US-GAAP and multi-entity, multi-currency environments
• Strong analytical mindset - you see data as a tool for better decisions, not just compliance
• Excellent communication skills - you can translate financial complexity for non-finance stakeholders
• High ownership mentality: you build things that last, not just get things done
• Experience in a cybersecurity or B2B SaaS company - a significant advantage
• English at a professional/full working proficiency level
