Project Manager, Technical

Job Summary

Project (Design) Manager manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services. Co-ordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints.

What You Will Do

• Plan and execute complex projects according to deadlines, budget and quality benchmarks
• Manage project governance tasks together with periodic reporting
• Monitor team performance against contract and client expectations and according to key performance metrics
• Effectively manage and communicate project tasks and commitments with project team members
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
• Manage customer expectations, through collaboration with stakeholders across the organization and develop effective working relationships
• Proactively consult on best practices, creative solutions, based on a deep understanding of the customers’ goals. Lead change management accordingly.
• Be actively involved in optimizing and improving work process and methodologies. Manage retrospective and Lessons Learned sessions for continuous improvement
• Participate and contribute to international relevant initiatives
  
  

What You Will Bring

• At least 2 years of experience in Project/Program management & knowledge of project/program management methodologies, platforms and tools
• Management capabilities – leadership, decision making, change management
• Ability to successfully operate under pressure
• Strong verbal/ presentation abilities
• Self-management capabilities, positivity and a high motivation
• Strong methodological background, independent, quick learner, excellent relationship
• Improvisation skills, “out of the box” thinking
• Desire to proactively and flexibly take on new challenges, applying past experience
• Fluent written and spoken English
