We are looking for a CTO / Technical Co-Founder for a Deep-Tech venture in the hospitality and restaurant industry.
Steady is developing a Visual Intelligence solution for smart inventory management in kitchens, bars, and restaurants — designed to reduce manual inventory counting, prevent shortages, and optimize supplier ordering.
- We are starting with a focused MVP: a mobile-first Scan & Order tool that enables users to capture shelf and inventory images, identify products using Computer Vision, and generate a clear order summary — what is missing, how much to order, from which supplier, and at what cost.
- An initial dataset of products, labels, caps, and supplier data already exists, and the first phase does not require integration with POS systems.
- We are looking for a technical partner who can take full ownership of the development — from a fast MVP to a scalable SaaS product.
What we are looking for
- Significant experience in Computer Vision, Object Detection, OCR, and Image Processing.
- Experience with YOLO / PyTorch or similar tools.
- Full-stack capabilities: Python / FastAPI / Flask on the backend, React / Next.js on the frontend.
- Understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud infrastructure, AWS / GCP, and multi-tenant systems.
- The ability to build clean, well-documented, and professional code.
- An Extreme Ownership mindset — someone who does not just write code, but solves business problems through technology.
In the next phase, the venture is expected to evolve into an autonomous monitoring system using fixed cameras, integrations with POS systems and suppliers, and AI-based predictive ordering.
