About Datafence

We're a cyber security and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) consulting firm working with clients across industries. Our team helps companies navigate frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and more — translating complex requirements into practical, real-world action.

Who we're looking for

We're open to students from a few different academic backgrounds, because great GRC work sits at the intersection of process, business, and law:

• Industrial / Process Engineering students — you love mapping how things work and finding ways to make them better.

• Business Administration students — you understand how organizations operate and how risk shows up in real decisions.

• Law students — you're comfortable reading regulations, standards, and contracts, and turning them into something usable.

No prior cyber security experience required. What matters most is curiosity, attention to detail, strong written communication (Hebrew and English), and a genuine interest in learning how organizations protect their data and meet their obligations.

What you'll actually do

• Support our consultants on real client engagements — audits, risk assessments, gap analyses, and policy work.

• Help map processes, controls, and evidence against compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and others).

• Draft policies, procedures, and reports that get used by real clients.

• Research regulations, standards, and emerging risks.

• Sit in on client meetings, take part in internal reviews, and learn how a GRC engagement runs end to end.
