Backend Software Engineer

An established technology company that develops a large-scale backend platform for the monitoring, management, and orchestration of massive critical infrastructure networks.

The software architecture processes high-throughput telemetry data and manages distributed resources in real time, ensuring system-level resilience, security, and high availability for mission-critical operations under heavy execution loads.

The company is located in Ra'anana and operates on a hybrid model of one day office-based.

Key Responsibilities-

• Writing highly performant, concurrent, and thread-safe backend services in Go, strictly avoiding race conditions and performance bottlenecks.
• Designing and implementing scalable, high-throughput APIs utilizing REST, WebSockets, or gRPC communication frameworks.
• Guaranteeing data consistency models, system reliability, and high performance for data ingestion pipelines handling massive loads.
• Building clean, testable, and production-ready code integrated with robust unit testing, telemetry tracing, and logging frameworks.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining distributed production environments to ensure compliance with strict SLA and latency targets.

Requirements-

• 4 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in Backend development and distributed systems (Mandatory).
• 2 years of dedicated, hands-on production experience writing software services in Go (Golang) (Mandatory).
• Deep technical understanding of low-level system concurrency, thread synchronization patterns, and preventing complex race conditions (Mandatory).
• Proven track record designing and scaling robust APIs using REST, WebSocket, or gRPC protocols (Mandatory).
• Strong architectural command over data persistence layers, caching mechanisms, and data consistency models (Mandatory).
• Uncompromising commitment to engineering best practices, including clean code, automated test coverage, and performance monitoring.
