System QA Engineer | Northern Israel
Mertens Malam Team is hiring a System QA Engineer for a leading organization in Northern Israel.
This role includes planning and executing tests for complex multidisciplinary systems and environments composed of multiple subsystems, while taking part in end-to-end system validation processes.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute system-level tests for complex multidisciplinary systems
• Analyze system requirements and create detailed test documents and test plans
• Lead and participate in test reviews
• Perform tests in system laboratories and validate system performance
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and report defects
• Verify bug fixes and ensure system stability
• Participate in lab integrations and onsite testing activities outside the organization
Requirements:
• High school diploma and completion of a QA or conversion course (military or civilian framework)
• Practical Engineer / Engineer degree in Software, Electronics, Aerodynamics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields — significant advantage
• Academic background in Information Systems or candidates who completed an Automation conversion program — advantage
• ISTQB certification — advantage
• Strong system-level understanding of complex systems
• Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills
• Ability to analyze system failures, identify root causes, and understand system-wide impact
• Strong skills in requirements analysis and test specification writing
