INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROFESSIONAL

Grapa Global LLC, a global family-owned business specializing in the breeding and commercialization of new table grape varieties worldwide, is expanding and seeking a highly motivated and professional individual with a legal background (preferably a young lawyer or experienced paralegal) to join our IP Department.

The selected candidate will support the day-to-day management of our IP portfolio under the guidance of the Head of the IP Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of IP Department in all intellectual property matters, including drafting and filing Plant Breeders’ Rights (PBR) and Trademark (TM) applications, oppositions, and related procedures.
• Prepare and review legal and administrative documents based on established precedents or instructions.
• Compile reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data from corporate records and internal databases.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Legal background with IP knowledge — mandatory.
• Excellent written and spoken English (mother-tongue level); additional languages – advantage.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, self-driven, and focused on continuous improvement.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
