Production Engineer

An established defense and aerospace technology corporation that develops advanced radar, intelligence, and electronic warfare systems.

The engineering and systems division drives the design, fabrication, and manufacturing of high-reliability military and space-grade electronic sub-assemblies.

The facility operates advanced production lines dedicated to multi-disciplinary mechanical and electronic integration for mission-critical defensive applications.

Key Responsibilities-

• Leading engineering processes for SMT assembly, advanced micro-soldering, adhesive bonding, and specialized protective coating applications.
• Defining, analyzing, and validating chemical formulations and structural materials parameters tailored for high-reliability electronic packages.
• Conducting rigorous failure analysis and root-cause investigations (FRACAS) on complex circuit assemblies to mitigate production anomalies.
• Auditing and aligning manufacturing Work Instructions according to rigorous quality blueprints and aerospace benchmarks (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001).
• Guiding cross-functional review boards with hardware developers and sub-tier vendors to resolve technical manufacturing constraints.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline (Mandatory).
• 5+ years of proven professional experience operating as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Technologist within an electronics manufacturing environment (Mandatory).
• Extensive hands-on experience managing production technologies including SMT processing, soldering, encapsulation/coatings, and electromechanical assemblies (Mandatory).
• Comprehensive understanding of printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication processes and full assembly integration workflows (Mandatory).
• Deep technical expertise in advanced soldering methodologies, wave soldering, or reflow profiles for dense multi-layered boards (Mandatory).
• Proven industrial experience leading complex hardware failure analysis and structural material investigations (Mandatory).
• Deep practical familiarity with IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 Class 3 compliance and workmanship standards (Mandatory).
• Prior engineering experience working under aerospace compliance frameworks or space-grade manufacturing requirements is a highly significant professional advantage.
