Mechanical Design Engineer

Amppera, Israel’s leading company in the field of industrial electric motors and rotating equipment, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team.

• Design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Creation of 3D models and manufacturing drawings
• Engineering modifications and improvements to existing products
• Close work with production, assembly, purchasing, and suppliers
• Providing engineering support and technical solutions on the production floor
• Designing according to manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering standards
  

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – must
• 4 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering development - must
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks – must
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, and assemblies
• Ability to read and create technical drawings
• Strong technical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  

• Experience in manufacturing / heavy industry
• Familiarity with rotating equipment, motors, or mechanical systems
• Experience supporting production environments
