Manufacturing & NPI Engineer

Benatav, a company specializing in precision components for the medical device industry, is looking for a Manufacturing & NPI Engineer to join our team.

This is a key engineering role involving transfer from R&D to production, process optimization, production support, and development of manufacturing solutions in a regulated medical environment.

• Build and maintain Device Master Records (DMR), including work instructions, engineering drawings, BOMs, and material specifications.
• Develop, validate, optimize, and implement manufacturing and assembly processes in compliance with ISO 13485 requirements.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and transfer from development to serial production.
• Design and develop production tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Provide ongoing engineering support to production lines, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and continuous improvement activities focused on yield improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Purchasing teams.
• Support validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), protocol writing, and documentation together with QA/RA teams.

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing/process engineering – required.
• Proven experience leading engineering changes (ECO) – required.
• Experience with NPI / transfer to manufacturing – advantage.
• Experience designing jigs & fixtures – advantage.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software – required.
• Experience with ERP / PLM systems – advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive tasks to completion.
• Fluent Hebrew and English.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
