Chief Financial Officer

At GI-View, we are developing innovative medical device technologies to improve patient care.

As the company continues to grow toward manufacturing readiness, future commercialization, and a wider pipeline, we are looking for a hands-on, business-minded CFO to oversee the company’s financial activities and support its ongoing operational and business development needs.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will manage the company’s financial operations, including cash management, financial reporting, budgeting, and operational financial planning, while playing an active role in fundraising activities, Board reporting, and commercial business development (BD) strategies.

This role is suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, business-minded, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with broad day-to-day involvement across both financial management and operational activities.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee the company’s financial operations and external accounting providers.
• Manage cash flow, payments, and ongoing financial tracking.
• Coordinate financial reporting, tax filings, audits, and related compliance activities.
• Monitor burn rate, cash runway, and ongoing financial performance.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Support budgeting processes, forecasting, and budget vs. actual tracking.
• Prepare financial materials and reports for management, Board meetings, and fundraising activities.
• Support the development of financial processes and reporting capabilities as the company grows.

Business Development & Commercial Support

• Support market analysis and identification of potential customer segments and clinical use cases.
• Support evaluation of commercial opportunities, pricing structures, and potential partnerships.
• Assist in financial and business analysis related to commercialization and market expansion activities.

Fundraising & Corporate Support

• Support fundraising activities and investor-related financial requests.
• Manage cap table administration, option-related matters, and reporting to the trustee.
• Support operational and administrative activities, including insurance and selected contract-related processes.

Operational & Administrative Support

• Support selected employee-related administrative processes, including compensation and onboarding coordination as needed.
• Work closely with the CEO on ongoing financial, operational, and business matters across the organization.
