Role Description

This is a part-time Laboratory Technician role based in Hadassah Ein Kerem, Jerusalem.

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting experiments and assays, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results. Additional tasks include performing quality control checks, documenting procedures, analyzing data, and adhering to laboratory safety standards and protocols. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance research and development processes is a key component of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Tissue culture work

• Thawing, expansion, and freezing of cell lines and iPSCs

• Generation and characterization of organoids

• Lab maintenance

• Assisting senior scientists with laboratory work

• Inventory and order management

• Experimental documentation

• Hands-on laboratory work

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biology, Neuroscience, Medical Sciences, or a related field

• Strong hands-on experience in cell culture work – required
