Data Engineer

A global, publicly traded technology corporation that develops advanced cloud networking and cybersecurity infrastructure connecting edge devices to the cloud.

The Israeli development center specifically owns the design and engineering of cloud security systems, utilizing Zero Trust architectures and cloud-native frameworks to replace legacy network security solutions.

The company is located in Tel Aviv (light rail-accessible) and operates on a hybrid model of two days office-based.

Position Overview-

• Data Engineer operating within a newly establishing global engineering team.
• Designing, developing, and optimizing the organization's centralized Data Platform.
• Engineering scalable data pipelines tailored for both high-throughput batch and real-time streaming workloads.
• Building complex data models, performing advanced data transformations, and enforcing strict data quality and observation metrics.
• Developing within a Multi-Cloud architecture utilizing Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt.

Key Responsibilities-

• Constructing and maintaining robust data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of security network logs.
• Authoring, optimizing, and scheduling data transformation pipelines within a Snowflake data warehouse environment.
• Implementing advanced analytics models and data schemas utilizing dbt to support global business intelligence.
• Integrating end-to-end data quality checks, alerting mechanisms, and performance monitoring for critical production pipelines.
• Collaborating with global product, security, and infrastructure teams to unify distributed cross-cloud datasets.

Requirements-

• 2 years of professional experience operating as a Data Engineer (Mandatory).
• Hands-on development experience building production data layers inside Snowflake (Mandatory).
• Strong, advanced-level proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries (Mandatory).
• Practical engineering experience writing automated backend scripts and pipelines using Python (Mandatory).
• Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt or working within Multi-Cloud environments is an advantage.
