Backend Software Team Lead

An established enterprise software company that develops automated defensive systems and configuration hardening platforms for large-scale B2B organizations.

Highly profitable since its inception and trusted by major global tech enterprises, the company recently secured tens of millions of dollars in institutional funding backed by premier venture capital funds to scale its SaaS infrastructure.

The company is located in Tel Aviv (adjacent to a train station) and operates on a flexible hybrid model of two to three days office-based.

Key Responsibilities-

• Leading, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing backend team, fostering robust engineering standards and code-quality indicators.
• Designing and implementing reliable backend microservices in Go optimized to process security logs and detect system anomalies in real time.
• Structuring automated testing protocols and managing continuous delivery pipelines over cloud-native container abstractions.
• Overseeing state transformations and performance optimizations for heavy data-ingestion layers utilizing relational databases.
• Bridging distributed backend software services with client-facing SaaS workflows to ensure a seamless security management experience.

Requirements-

• 6 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in Backend development frameworks (Mandatory).
• 1 years of formal experience in software engineering management or technical team leadership (Mandatory).
• Strong, production-grade programming proficiency using Go or Python (Mandatory).
• Proven track record building enterprise-grade SaaS platforms within startup or high-growth software vendor environments (Mandatory).
• Hands-on experience working with relational database systems (SQL) and automated CI/CD tools like Kubernetes is a distinct advantage.
• Direct background working inside a cybersecurity software company is a significant professional advantage.
