Integration Technician

AIR is developing a unique electric plane (eVTOL) for the private, logistics and defense markets. With over 1,000 pre-orders for our private aircraft and active fulfillment of defense and logistics orders, we are rapidly growing. Our team is expanding as we prepare to launch testing and delivery of aircraft and plan for mass production, working with top aerospace and automotive subcontractors worldwide.

As an Integrator, you will play a crucial role in integrating and validating the complex electrical and electronic systems within our eVTOL aircraft.

This position requires a strong hands-on technical background, coordination across engineering disciplines, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Integrating and validating avionics, power systems, sensors, and other electrical/electronic components in the aircraft.
• Collaborating closely with hardware, software, and mechanical teams to ensure successful system-level integration.
• Supporting functional testing and troubleshooting of systems during assembly and flight testing.
• Test planning and implementation for electrical harnesses, mechanical assemblies, and integrated subsystems.
• Documenting wiring diagrams, installation procedures, and integration protocols.
• Working with subcontractors and suppliers to validate system performance and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Participating in aircraft build and test campaigns, ensuring proper installation, connectivity, and functionality of electrical subsystems.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with electrical/electronic system integration, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or defense sectors.
• Background in electrical engineering, electronics, or avionics – education or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with wiring, connectors, harnesses, and debugging electrical systems.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and system diagrams.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Proven strong troubleshooting skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with system testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) and documentation processes.
• Advantage: Experience with eVTOLs, drones, or light aircraft systems.
• Advantage: Familiarity with RF antennas and hardware.
