A leading company is looking for a Senior System Engineer to take full ownership of a complex hybrid infrastructure environment, including on-premise systems alongside AWS, Azure, and Entra ID.
This is a senior hands-on role focused on stability, security, automation, and scalability across critical business environments, including corporate sites, retail stores, logistics, and production environments.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructures
• Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, hybrid identity, GPO, DNS, and DHCP
• Manage VMware / Hyper-V and cloud environments in AWS and Azure
• Operate and harden cloud infrastructure, networking environments, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, and Network Segmentation
• Build and maintain automation processes using PowerShell, Bash, and Terraform
• Monitor infrastructure systems, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain high availability
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams, vendors, ISPs, and integrators
• Lead infrastructure standards, documentation, and Zero Trust security initiatives
Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure / systems engineering experience
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID
• Experience working with Linux environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills
• Strong networking knowledge including VLANs, VPNs, DNS, NAT, and Routing
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions
Advantages:
• Experience with Fortinet / CheckPoint
• Experience with EDR, SIEM, or NAC solutions
• Experience in Retail / Multi-site / POS environments
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 / NIST frameworks
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies
