Applied Spectral Imaging (ASI) is a global leader in biomedical imaging for Pathology, Cytogenetics, and Research laboratories, offering a comprehensive product portfolio for Karyotyping, H&E, IHC, and FISH analysis. 

Scope & Expectations:

The student will:

• Support core product decisions
• Work on well-defined tasks with clear guidance
• Gradually take on more responsibility based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

• Part-time position (2 days per week) within the Product team 
• Work closely with Product Managers, R&D, Applications, and Customer Support teams
• Assist in defining product requirements and feature specifications (HW and SW)
• Assist in evaluating new technologies and specs 
• Support market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends 
• Assist in preparing product documentation, presentations, and internal materials 

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2nd or 3rd year B.Sc. or B.A. student in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 
• Interest in product lifecycle, technology, and user experience 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
• High proficiency in Excel )data analysis skills are a plus) 
• Ability to synthesize information and present insights clearly
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
