VP Operations, Procurement & Supply Chain
A leading software company operating in Israel is seeking a VP Operations, Procurement & Supply Chain for a senior and highly impactful leadership role.
The role includes overall responsibility for procurement, operations, and supply chain activities across the organization, with procurement volumes of tens of millions of NIS annually, alongside responsibility for operational management and facility maintenance.
This is a broad and hands-on leadership position combining strategic and business-oriented thinking with day-to-day operational involvement.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for procurement, operations, and supply chain activities across the organization.
- Managing and leading a professional team of approximately 10 employees.
- Leading complex procurement and vendor engagement processes with suppliers in Israel and globally.
- Managing commercial negotiations, improving engagement terms, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
- Responsibility for operational activities and facility management, including ongoing maintenance, construction projects, safety, transportation, and operational services.
- Handling complex operational issues while ensuring high operational continuity.
- Working closely with senior management and multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
- Leading efficiency improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience managing procurement within a mid-sized or large organization.
- Previous experience as a VP and member of the executive management team – mandatory.
- Proven experience managing and leading teams.
- Experience managing procurement budgets of tens of millions of NIS annually.
- Significant experience in commercial negotiations and managing complex vendor engagements.
- Strong managerial capabilities alongside a hands-on approach.
- Experience in operations and facilities management – a significant advantage.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong ERP systems knowledge, analytical capabilities, and business acumen.
- Relevant academic degree (Economics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Logistics) – an advantage.
- Professional procurement certification – an advantage.
- High level of ownership, organization, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
