Deep Learning Research Engineer

An automotive and transportation technology company that develops advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) for the railway industry.

The platform utilizes computer vision and deep learning technologies to detect, classify, and alert operators in real-time to obstacles on train tracks at extended distances.

Operating through specialized high-resolution camera infrastructure, the system functions under diverse weather and lighting conditions to prevent collisions and improve transit safety.

The company is located in the Center region and operates on a hybrid model of one day office-based.

Key Responsibilities-

• Conducting applied research, training, and optimization of deep learning models for object detection and classification.
• Developing robust computer vision algorithms tailored for real-time, high-resolution visual data.
• Deploying trained models into production environments and validating performance metrics.
• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate machine learning solutions into core hardware and software platforms.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technological field (M.Sc. or higher is an advantage).
• Several years of professional industry experience specializing in Deep Learning (DL) and Computer Vision (CV).
• Proven track record with a heavy emphasis on training neural networks.
• Advanced proficiency in development using Python and deep learning frameworks, specifically PyTorch.
