Back End Developer

At ONE ZERO, Israel’s first fully digital bank, we’re building the technology that powers a new era of intuitive, transparent, people-first banking. As our platform grows and our services expand, we’re looking for a Backend Developer to help shape the systems at the heart of our product.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end development, from architecture and implementation to deployment and production, while contributing to the cloud-native infrastructure that drives our digital banking experience.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain complex, highly available, distributed, cloud-based systems while ensuring high quality and performance.
• Design robust, scalable, and testable software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Take part in the full development lifecycle, including research, design, development, testing, and production.
• Contribute to the development of our core backend banking services.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in server-side development.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin (must).
• Hands-on experience with AWS or another public cloud platform (must).
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, with hands-on experience designing and building microservices using best practices.
• Passion for building high-quality products and collaborating within a team.
• Experience or interest in AI-assisted coding.

Nice to have:

• Background in Fintech.
• Previous experience in high-tech companies.
• Experience working with trading systems.
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming.
• Experience with spec-driven development.
