Role Description

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - AI Solutions to join us as a contractor. This is a hybrid role (Tel Aviv area / WFH flexibility) starting at about 60% availability, working with a tight team across 1–2 key client projects.

You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, design the architecture, and hands-on build and deploy the backend and AI systems. You need to be highly independent, move fast, and enjoy talking to clients just as much as writing code.

Qualifications

• Customer Facing: Exceptional communication and consultative skills. You know how to work directly with customers to define requirements, manage technical delivery, and handle pushback when needed.
• Backend Experience: 5+ years in Backend Engineering (Python or Node.js). Looking for those people who are x5 with AI.
• AI Frameworks & Production: Hands-on experience with at least one modern AI framework (preferably LangGraph) and a track record of deploying production-grade Agents.
• Evals & Monitoring: Deep understanding of LLM evaluation methodologies and platforms (e.g., LangSmith, Braintrust).
• Data & Retrieval: Solid understanding of data analytics and RAG architectures. Experience with vector databases or search infrastructure (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Pinecone) is a huge plus.
• Infrastructure: Experience with Docker, cloud providers (AWS/GCP), and deploying production services.
