Hands-on Project Manager

Location: Central District, Israel (Full Time / Optional 60%–80%)

Join Surpass as a Project Leader and help drive a major public transportation technology project. We are looking for a communicative leader to spearhead an open-source, GIS-based platform built on AWS infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

• Own and lead end-to-end technical project initiatives, from defining business

problems to production-grade deployment

• Lead and mentor a team of developers and data professionals through

hands-on technical leadership

• Manage extensive interfaces with the business team, utilizing

proven communication and presentation skills to align technical goals with

business needs

• Work closely with our product and development teams to address

client needs and improve the system

• Translate strategic goals into actionable, data-driven solutions

and technical roadmaps

What you bring:

• Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and delivering impactful data-driven solutions

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Leaflet GIS or similar spatial data engines

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, and open-source environments

• Relevant academic degree

• Strong familiarity with AWS cloud components is a significant advantage

• Experience or understanding of public transportation systems is a major plus
