BIU Racing is the official Formula Student team of Bar-Ilan University, bringing together ambitious engineering and management students across multiple disciplines. The team is committed to designing, manufacturing, and racing high-performance electric race cars. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bar-Ilan University for a Low Voltage Team Member in the Electrical Engineering Division. Responsibilities include working on the design and implementation of low voltage systems, troubleshooting electrical components, and collaborating with the software and mechanical teams to ensure system functionality. The role also involves developing wiring diagrams, testing circuits, and ensuring compliance with relevant performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and circuit design
• Proficiency in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components
• Ability to read and create wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• Basic knowledge of software tools and systems for electrical engineering tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-disciplinary project collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (current enrollment is acceptable for student applicants)
• Experience in automotive or EV systems is an advantage but not required
• Openness to learning in a dynamic, hands-on project environment
