Infrastructure Team Lead

Matrix is hiring a Infrastructure Team Lead for a leading financial organization.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of approximately 10 infrastructure system professionals
• Acting as a technical authority in Linux-based environments
• Planning and executing infrastructure work plans and projects
• Leading the implementation, evaluation, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure systems
• Driving technical infrastructure development as part of a core system replacement project
• Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure
• Approximately 50% hands-on technical work

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing a team responsible for complex IT systems
• Strong technical understanding and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Proven leadership and ability to drive teams to meet goals and deadlines
• Experience in project monitoring and control
• Experience with full lifecycle management of infrastructure systems (evaluation, installation, maintenance, upgrades)
• Experience with RHEL and/or Solaris operating systems
• Experience with virtualization environments and container technologies
• Experience setting up and maintaining software repositories
• Strong scripting skills and familiarity with automation tools
