Lab Manager

We’re hiring a Lab Manager 🚀

My research group at the Wolfson Department of Chemical Engineering at the Technion works on automated chemical kinetics tools, agentic AI for chemical discovery, modeling sustainable aviation fuels, designing robust polymers, discovering novel molecules, and AR/VR science applications. 🔬🤖⚡

It’s a mix of computational research, wet-lab work, engineering, and mentoring, and the person who keeps the group running day to day will play a central role in shaping how we do science.

The role includes:

🔹 Managing lab operations, procurement, equipment installation, safety, and research funds

🔹 Supporting and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students

🔹 Leading independent research projects and contributing to papers and proposals

🔹 Helping coordinate a dynamic, international, multidisciplinary research group

We’re looking for someone with:

🎓 MSc in Chemical Engineering or a related field

🧪 Hands-on experimental lab experience

🌍 Excellent English and Hebrew communication skills

🤝 Strong organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills

✨ Bonus: background in chemical kinetics and reactor engineering, or energy

💻 Bonus: strong Python skills
