About the Role

The Buyer is responsible for executing end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase order management, supplier coordination, sourcing support, and category ownership. The role ensures timely supply of materials and components, while supporting supplier performance, cost control, and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process from request to delivery
• Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders (POs)
• Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery
• Follow up with suppliers on commitments and timelines
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers
• Collect and evaluate supplier quotations (RFQs)
• Compare pricing, lead times, and commercial terms
• Support negotiations on pricing and delivery conditions
• Identify and escalate supply risks, delays, and quality issues
• Support resolution of supplier-related issues
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Finance)
• Support tracking of procurement KPIs (delivery, lead time, quality)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, and operations
• Experience working with suppliers and managing purchase orders
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
