Full Stack Engineer

Most security platforms drown analysts in alerts. Axia Security does the opposite. Our AI understands context, prioritizes what matters, and gives organizations real control over their sensitive data.

We're building something ambitious: a platform that combines machine learning, LLMs, and deep security engineering to deliver context-aware protection at enterprise scale. We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to own the entire application layer, the dashboards, workflows, and decision interfaces that security teams will rely on every day.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll work directly with the founders, shape architecture from day one, and see your decisions in production within weeks.

What You'll Do

• Own the core security operator experience: case triage, AI decision views, policy tuning, and exception handling
• Build and maintain the backend APIs and services powering the platform
• Create real-time, event-driven workflows that surface AI security decisions the moment they happen
• Develop high-performance analytics dashboards that make AI behavior transparent and actionable
• Implement enterprise-grade authentication, authorization, and audit logging
• Optimize large-scale React applications for speed and reliability
• Partner with AI engineers to visualize model performance and build decision transparency tools

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years building production web applications at scale
• Expert-level React and TypeScript. You've built complex, data-heavy interfaces and know how to keep them fast
• Experience with design systems and building scalable UI component architectures
• Strong focus on performance optimization in large-scale React applications
• Strong Node.js backend experience (NestJS, Express, or equivalent)
• Solid SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
• Experience with real-time dashboards and rich data visualization
• Comfortable integrating with REST APIs
• You care about UX and can design intuitive interfaces for complex workflows
• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
• Comfortable making decisions independently and moving fast in a dynamic environment

Nice to Have

• Python for services and APIs
• Message queues: Redis, BullMQ, Kafka, or similar
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or security tooling
• Data visualization libraries: D3.js, Recharts, Plotly
• AWS or Azure experience
• Enterprise SaaS or observability platform background
