A leading company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

The role is within the R&D department and focuses mainly on design adaptations of existing products according to new customer requirements, as well as serving as the mechanical representative within projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical design adaptations for existing products based on customer requirements
Represent the mechanical discipline within cross-functional projects
Work closely with relevant internal interfaces within the R&D organization
Support engineering changes and product adjustments throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - required
2–4 years of experience - required
Proven experience with SolidWorks - required
Experience working with a PLM system - required
(The company uses Teamcenter, but experience with other PLM systems is also relevant)
Experience in a defense company - advantage
Experience in mechanical design of products exposed to vibration and environmental conditions - advantage
