Cyber Security Defense Specialist and Networking– Security Infrastructure Team

We are looking for a Cyber Security Defense Specialist to join our Information Security division and work closely with infrastructure and development teams to ensure the security, resilience, and reliability of the organization’s networks and services.

In this role, you will take part in designing and implementing secure architectures across operating systems, network infrastructure, applications, and code, while actively contributing to the organization’s overall security posture. You will be responsible for defining and enforcing security policies, procedures, and operational standards across security and communication systems, as well as providing guidance and governance to technical teams across the organization.

A significant part of the role includes hands-on operation of security and network systems, monitoring security tools and platforms, and continuously analyzing security events to detect and respond to potential attacks in real time. You will also be responsible for performing configuration reviews and validating security controls implemented across various systems and technologies.

The position involves leading incident response activities, providing guidance during active security events, and supporting mitigation and recovery efforts. In addition, you will accompany security assessments and audits, and ensure findings are properly addressed in collaboration with relevant teams.

Requirements:

3–5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity defense, including operation of security and networking systems in production environments - Must

Proven experience in designing secure architectures and implementing security controls across network and system layers - Must

Strong understanding of network security concepts and infrastructure components - Must

Hands-on experience with security and networking technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, IBM security solutions - Must

Experience with load balancing technologies such as Radware - Must

Strong understanding of networking protocols including BGP - Must

Ability to work in a highly operational, hands-on environment dealing with incidents, maintenance, and security events.

Security certifications are considered an advantage.
