Comblack is hiring a Team Lead for Long-Term Savings Infrastructure (IT Infrastructure Team Lead) !
Job Description:
- Leadership of a Long-Term Savings (LTS) infrastructure systems team of approximately 10 employees
- Technical leadership as a subject matter expert (Linux operating systems environments)
- Execution of work plans and infrastructure projects
- Technical leadership of infrastructure system implementation – evaluation, deployment, and maintenance
- Leading application infrastructure development challenges as part of a core system replacement project
- Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Department
- The role requires approximately 50% hands-on work
Mandatory Requirements
- 4+ years of experience managing a team responsible for complex IT systems
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong leadership and assertive management skills to drive team execution and deliverables
- Ability to influence peers and drive collaboration across teams
- Strong follow-up and control over projects and activities
- High service awareness, responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working with diverse infrastructure systems and full lifecycle management (evaluation, installation, maintenance, upgrades)
- Experience in deploying, managing, and operating RHEL and/or Solaris operating systems
- Experience in setting up and managing virtualized environments and containers
- Experience in setting up and maintaining software repositories
- Scripting experience in multiple languages and familiarity with automation systems
- Experience managing and operating terminal systems
- User management experience, including working with centralized identity management systems (e.g., Active Directory)
