THE OPPORTUNITY - INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

We are seeking a talented industrial designer to join our outstanding creative team in designing and developing best-in-class products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing prestige packaging and experiences across all brand categories. From conceptualization to reality, you will be responsible for leading a full cycle development process, owning designs that scale to production volumes of millions of units. You will focus on maintaining and improving our visual language and impeccably made products, while collaborating with our global creative team. You’ll become a significant part of our massive growth and gain in-depth knowledge of IL MAKIAGE design, culture, products and users.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design mass produced premium high-end packaging using glass, plastic, cardboard and fabric
• Investigate, define, and test packaging types that best support new formulas and user experiences
• Create full product cycles from primary to secondary packaging, through formula shape definition, color strategy, and user interface.
• Conceptualize and develop complete customer experiences with the brand, such as shipping experiences, PR kits, gifting plans, influencer collaborations, etc.
• Be part of an amazing creative family
• Become an expert in materials, finishes, decorations, and ecological alternatives.
• Combine between best-in-class design and the needs of reality - time-to-market, target prices, safety standards, sustainable claims, etc.
• Support the industrialization and QC process of bringing your designs to life

MUST REQUIREMENTS

• 1–2 years of experience, strong advantage for candidates with knowledge of glass and plastic manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 3D printing
• BA in Industrial Design
• Proficiency in Solidworks and Keyshot
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Ps, Ai)
• High level of written and spoken English
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly get up to speed, iterate, and manage multiple projects
