Clinical Data Extraction Assistant – Data & Analytics Division (Medical Student Position)

Sheba Medical Center is leading an advanced data strategy aimed at positioning Sheba as a world-class, data-driven healthcare organization. As part of this initiative, we are looking for a 4th or 5th year medical student to join the Data & Analytics Division.

The role focuses on supporting clinical and research data extraction processes, primarily using the MDClone platform, for research projects and various organizational requests.

The position requires familiarity with the Chameleon (Kamillion) medical system, as well as understanding of both clinical and administrative healthcare data.

The work is task-based with defined timelines and can mostly be performed remotely during flexible hours. Availability for occasional on-site meetings, coordination sessions, and work-related activities during business hours is required.

• Extract and process clinical and operational data for research and organizational needs
• Work with the MDClone platform for data retrieval and analysis
• Collaborate with research and professional teams across the organization
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of requested data
• Provide ongoing updates regarding task progress, risks, and timelines

• 4th or 5th year medical student
• Strong orientation toward working with data
• Commitment to a 50% position
• Familiarity with MDClone – advantage (training will be provided for suitable candidates)
• Clinical understanding and ability to interpret medical data
• Ability to work in a multitasking environment
