Automation Engineer

The offices are located in Tel Aviv near the train station, offering a hybrid work model with two days of work-from-home.

The Role-

• Release Leadership: Lead the end-to-end release and delivery processes for complex software and firmware packages.
• CI/CD Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines, covering automated builds, validation, and deployment.
• Automation Engineering: Develop sophisticated tools and scripts in Python and Bash to streamline internal frameworks and versioning strategies.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage complex Git and branching strategies while working closely with software-hardware integration teams.
• Monitoring & Quality: Build automated dashboards and reporting tools to monitor release quality and ensure high-performance delivery.
• Modern Environment: Work with a diverse toolset including Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Yocto within a Linux-based ecosystem.

Requirements-

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a leading university
• 3+ years of experience in CI/Automation or Release Management
• Strong preference for experience in Embedded or Semiconductor environments
• Strong programming skills with mastery of Python and Bash (ability to write and review automation code)
• Significant Linux expertise, including cross-compilation and software-hardware integration
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) using Pipeline-as-Code
• Deep understanding of Git, including submodules and complex branching/merging flows
• High level of independence, teamwork, and English proficiency
