R&D Hardware Engineer

A global semiconductor and infrastructure technology company developing advanced solutions for mission-critical, high-performance systems. The company’s semiconductor technologies serve complex markets such as networking, connectivity, servers, storage systems, broadband, and industrial applications.

The role is part of a multidisciplinary R&D environment focused on advanced board-level design, high-speed digital interfaces, signal integrity, power integrity, and hands-on lab work. This is an opportunity to join an experienced engineering team working on complex hardware products at scale.

Located in Tel Aviv, the position is suitable for an experienced hardware engineer with strong board design capabilities and deep hands-on debugging experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to board-level hardware design for advanced analog and digital systems.
• Work on high-speed digital design, including controlled impedance implementations and complex board design considerations.
• Perform board bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation in a lab environment.
• Analyze and solve Signal Integrity and Power Integrity challenges.
• Work with digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, and SerDes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the design, development, and validation process.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognized academic institution - must.
• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering - advantage.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in analog/digital Board Design -must.
• Experience with high-speed digital design -must.
• Solid knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity -must.
• Hands-on familiarity with digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, and SerDes -must.
• Strong hands-on lab experience, including work with spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes -must.
• Experience with power supplies, regulators, filters, analog circuits, and controlled impedance implementations – advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
