Senior Linux Kernel / Embedded Software Engineer

A global semiconductor and cloud infrastructure technology company developing custom chips, accelerators, and software stacks that power advanced cloud solutions at massive scale. The company operates at the intersection of silicon, embedded software, networking, and cloud infrastructure, solving complex challenges for next-generation compute environments.

The role is part of a strong engineering team working on cutting-edge cloud-chip products and high-performance networking technologies. The team develops low-level software for systems that require strict reliability, security, and performance, with direct impact on large-scale cloud infrastructure.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical environment with multiple openings, offering challenging roles across Linux Kernel development, embedded software, hardware/software interfaces, and C-based low-level development.

Two positions are currently open within a strong engineering team, focusing on Linux Kernel and Embedded C development for advanced cloud-chip and networking products.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge cloud semiconductor products, working on Linux Kernel and Embedded software for advanced chip-based cloud infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain Linux Kernel components, including kernel drivers, networking, I/O, and monitoring-related capabilities.
• Develop low-level Embedded software in C for next-generation networking and cloud infrastructure products.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, system, and software teams on HW/SW interfaces at both board and chip level.
• Take part in the development of high-scale systems with strict reliability, security, and performance requirements.
• Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot complex low-level software issues in a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field from a leading academic institution - must.
• At least 5 years of experience in Embedded software development - must.
• Strong hands-on experience in C development - must.
• Expertise in Linux Kernel development - must.
• Experience with Linux Kernel drivers, networking, I/O, or monitoring - strong advantage.
• Experience with HW/SW interfaces at board and/or chip level- advantage.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture - advantage.
• Experience with SoC development lifecycle - advantage.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated team player, fast learner, and comfortable working in a dynamic and demanding environment.
