Application Security Researcher

A prominent, high-growth cybersecurity company with hundreds of employees, specializing in advanced protection solutions.

The company is experiencing significant expansion and is known for its high-caliber engineering culture.

Located in Tel Aviv near major train lines, the team operates in a hybrid model with 3 days of work from the office.

The Role-

• Strategic Security Design: Partner closely with the R&D teams to perform security Design and Planning before the development of new features.
• Hands-on Penetration Testing: Lead deep-dive Application PT for complex Web environments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Security Research: Conduct vulnerability research on third-party packages and dependencies integrated into the company’s products.
• Automation & Scripting: Write scripts to automate security testing processes and analyze communication protocols.
• Significant Impact: Serve as a key technical authority influencing the security posture of core products from the early architectural stages.

Requirements-

• 2 years of experience in Application Penetration Testing (PT)
• Proven experience with Web application security and common attack vectors
• Experience in Infrastructure PT – Significant advantage
• Ability to write scripts for security automation – Significant advantage
• Experience working closely with development teams – Significant advantage
• Industry certifications such as OSEP or OCRTP – Significant advantage
• Deep understanding of network protocols and security research methodologies
