Backend Software Team Lead

A rapidly expanding Cloud Security startup that has secured significant funding from the world's leading investors in the cybersecurity domain.

The company has developed an innovative platform that bridges the gap between operations and security teams, providing contextualized data to secure cloud infrastructures.

By centralizing visibility, the system allows organizations to drastically reduce alert fatigue through a single, streamlined interface.

The offices are located in the Central District near major transportation hubs, offering a hybrid model with one day of work-from-home.

The Role-

• Team Leadership: Build and lead a team from the ground up, including both new hires and existing engineers, reaching a total of five to six developers.
• Hybrid Execution: Maintain a balance of management and technical contribution, with approximately 20-40% hands-on involvement.
• Architecture & Scale: Drive the development of complex microservices handling massive cloud data across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Multi-Stack Environment: Oversee a diverse technical landscape including Java Spring Boot, Go, and Python, while managing high-performance distributed systems.

Requirements-

• 2+ years of experience in technical team management
• 5+ years of experience in Backend development using Java, Node.js, Python, or Go
• Proven experience building and scaling applications on Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong background in professional industry environments (post-military experience)
• Experience in the Cybersecurity domain – Significant advantage
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, TimescaleDB, or ElasticSearch – Significant advantage
