Algorithmic Trader – FX & Commodities

Role Summary

Bot 4 Future (B4F) is an algorithmic hedge fund specialising in FX and commodities trading, operating under a regulated structure in Gibraltar. The fund is powered by a proprietary AI-driven trading engine combining macroeconomic analysis, sentiment analysis, and price action models to identify trading opportunities across global markets.

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join the trading team and support the monitoring, operation, and ongoing development of the fund’s trading systems. Success in this role requires strong market awareness, disciplined decision making, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment.

This role works closely with the senior trading and strategy team and plays an active part in the daily operation and optimisation of the fund’s trading infrastructure and risk management processes.

Responsibilities

Monitor and supervise algorithmic trading activity in real time to ensure stable and controlled execution

Make operational decisions regarding activation, deactivation, or adjustment of trading systems according to market conditions

Assist in the development, testing, optimisation, and evaluation of trading strategies and algorithms

Perform technical analysis and analyse market structure across FX and commodities markets

Work with indicators, trading signals, and trade entry and exit frameworks

Monitor market activity continuously and support data-driven trading decisions

Apply and develop knowledge of hedging techniques and portfolio risk management principles

Collaborate with senior team members on improving existing trading systems and operational workflows

Review trading behaviour and contribute to post-trade analysis and strategy refinement

Maintain disciplined execution standards and follow internal trading and risk procedures

Qualifications

Experience trading FX markets, including independent, educational, or professional experience

Strong understanding of technical analysis and trading strategies

Analytical mindset with structured and systematic thinking

Ability to make independent decisions under pressure and in uncertain market conditions

Strong willingness to learn, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

Knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics is an advantage

Experience with Python, MT4/MT5, Pine Script, or backtesting tools is an advantage

Familiarity with algorithmic trading platforms is an advantage

Background in quantitative trading, systematic trading, or market research is an advantage

Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage

Strong verbal and written communication skills
