Research Assistant

Join the lab of Prof. Neta Regev-Rudzki for groundbreaking research in infectious diseases, microbiology, molecular biology, and malaria.

We are looking for a Research Assistant to lead independent research projects while taking part in laboratory management and scientific operations.

Position Overview:

• Independent Research: Formulating research questions, conducting experiments, working with cell cultures, molecular biology, and bacteria.

• Lab Management: Writing grants and ethics approvals, supervising and mentoring students, managing equipment and inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring lab safety.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Biology or a related field.

• Experience in molecular biology and wet lab techniques.

• Experience with cell cultures, bacteria, or immunology – strong advantage.

• High-level English (scientific writing, grants, presentations, international conferences).

• Ability to balance bench work with lab management responsibilities.

• Independent, proactive, energetic, with strong leadership and team motivation skills.

• Background in chemistry – advantage.
