AI and Automation Manager

We are looking for an AI & Automation Manager to lead the company’s AI, automation, and digital operations initiatives from within.

Role Overview

This is a super hands-on role for someone with software development background, product thinking, business understanding, and practical execution skills.

The AI & Automation Manager will work closely with senior management and department heads to identify operational needs, build internal tools, automate workflows, and help DataMap become a more digital, data-driven, efficient and innovative.

The Ideal Candidate

You may have started as a developer, but realized you enjoy solving business problems more than just writing tickets. You are comfortable jumping into a messy workflow, mapping it out on a whiteboard, and then building the script, tool, dashboard, or integration that fixes it.

You do not wait for a perfect spec. You go find the problem, understand it, and solve it.

Key Responsibilities

• Map workflows across company departments and identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes.
• Design and build AI-based tools, automations, dashboards, and internal systems.
• Lead end-to-end product spec and development, from discovery to launch and adoption.
• Work with department managers to define needs and prioritize use cases.
• Train employees and support adoption of new tools.
• Build and manage the company’s AI and automation roadmap.

Requirements

• Hands-on background in software development.
• Hands-on background in AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Hands-on ability to build working tools, scripts, integrations, dashboards, and prototypes.
• Proven real life experience launching software products, internal tools, or automation solutions into real use.
• Experience with AI tools, LLMs, agents, or automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and data structures.
• Ability to work independently, identify problems, and turn vague business needs into working technical solutions.
• Strong communication, ownership, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Hebrew and English.

Advantages

• Experience or interest in Computer Vision / Image Recognition.
