Procurement Buyer (Mechanical) - Leading Defense Company | Yehud, Israel

A leading defense company in Yehud is seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to manage procurement processes in the field of mechanics.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes in the mechanical domain
• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), conduct negotiations, and execute supplier agreements in accordance with company guidelines
• Work closely with subcontractors and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing Planning, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Project Management
• Create and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and expedite supply according to project requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management / Logistics / Economics - advantage
• 7+ years of experience as a Procurement Buyer or Supplier Manager in technological environments - mandatory
• Proven experience in negotiations and supplier management - mandatory
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and Statements of Work (SOW) - mandatory
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and standard computer applications - mandatory
