Project Development Manager – Renewable Energy (Global)

Role Overview

A leading international energy company is seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to take a key role in driving strategic energy projects.

This is a cross-functional position involving end-to-end project advancement in the renewable energy space — from early feasibility through maturity — combining commercial, financial, contractual, and strategic aspects.

You will work closely with global stakeholders across technical, legal, financial, and business domains, and play a central role in shaping complex, high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and advance strategic energy projects from feasibility through development and execution
• Analyze projects from planning, commercial, financial, and regulatory perspectives
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (technical, legal, financial, and business)
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and control processes
• Provide ongoing reporting to senior management, including close interaction with US-based stakeholders

Requirements

• Relevant academic degree (Law, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business or similar) with strong business/commercial orientation
• At least 5 years of experience in developing, advancing, or analyzing complex projects
• Experience working on global projects or with international stakeholders
• Relevant background in energy, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects
• Excellent English – spoken, written, and professional communication
• Availability for full-time office-based work (with one hybrid day per week)
• Willingness to travel to the US approximately twice per quarter
