We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems across airborne, marine, and stationary platforms. This role combines hands-on design work with system-level thinking, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability in demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design new mechanical systems and support existing platforms in compliance with environmental and operational requirements
- Develop solutions that meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets
- Produce detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, along with full technical documentation
- Support prototype builds, integration, and testing activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system alignment and successful delivery
Requirements
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of hands-on mechanical design experience
- Experience designing to MIL standards (MIL-STD-810, DO-160)
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks – preferred)
- Proven experience in rotary motion systems within dynamic environments
- Experience designing multidisciplinary systems
- Knowledge of structural design and finite element analysis (FEA), preferably using SolidWorks
Advantages
- Experience in airborne systems design
- Experience in marine systems (e.g., DOD-STD-1399)
- Background in composite materials and advanced structural design
