Padagis is seeking an experienced Sterile Manufacturing Facility Engineer to lead the planning, setup, and qualification of a sterile manufacturing and packaging facility for ophthalmic products at our development and manufacturing site in Yeruham.

What you’ll do

• Lead the engineering design, construction, and qualification of a sterile manufacturing and packaging facility.
• Hold full engineering responsibility for facility setup and implementation of sterile manufacturing processes in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Support all project phases, including design, installation, and qualification.
• Work closely with cross‑functional and external interfaces, including Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Production Planning, R&D, and Operations.
• Lead validation activities and prepare the facility for FDA and Israeli Ministry of Health inspections.
• Drive automation solutions in manufacturing and packaging to minimize human intervention.
• Support technology transfer (Tech Transfer) from development to manufacturing.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams throughout project and production stages.

Position details

• Reports to the Site Engineering Manager.
• Full‑time position, Sunday–Thursday, 8:00–16:30.
• Availability for additional or non‑standard working hours as required.

What we’re looking for

• BSc or MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline – mandatory.
• Significant experience in a sterile manufacturing environment – mandatory.
• Proven experience with Aseptic Processing – mandatory.
• Hands‑on experience in manufacturing and packaging of sterile batches – mandatory.
• Experience in establishing sterile facilities or supporting facility setup projects – mandatory.
• Experience implementing GMP processes in sterile manufacturing facilities – mandatory.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities (FDA / Israeli Ministry of Health) – mandatory.
• Experience preparing facilities for regulatory inspections – mandatory.
• Experience leading and motivating professional teams – a significant advantage.
• High‑level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) – mandatory.
