A leading organization is looking for a Security Monitoring & Control Specialist to join its Information Security team.
This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining security controls with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and access control for sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and maintain security controls related to information security and data protection
- Configure, write, and maintain rules within monitoring and security systems
- Monitor user activity, identify anomalies, and analyze unusual behavior
- Investigate and handle information security incidents
- Investigate phishing/impersonation incidents
- Work closely with employees and managers to implement new controls and improve existing processes
- Support ongoing efforts to strengthen organizational security monitoring capabilities
Requirements:
- Experience working with DLP systems – a significant advantage
- Experience defining rules and controls in monitoring platforms such as Splunk – a significant advantage
- Experience investigating security incidents, log analysis, and writing queries – an advantage
- Strong technical orientation and ability to learn independently – required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – required
