Fortitude Law is a U.S. premium law firm specializing in complex litigation, asset recovery, and the legal defense of clients facing sophisticated fraud. We represent leading high-tech and cybersecurity companies, businesses with international exposure, and private clients confronting significant financial loss.
We are establishing our Israel office, and we're looking for an exceptional early-career attorney to grow with us from day one.
The Role
Working under the close supervision of the firm's U.S. partners, you will support matters involving:
▪️ Complex commercial litigation and cross-border asset recovery
▪️ Legal counsel for Israeli high-tech and cybersecurity companies in their U.S. operations
▪️ Sophisticated fraud cases, where finance, cyber, and civil-criminal law intersect
▪️ Close coordination with our strategic partners in investigative technology and cyber forensics
The U.S. Practice Immersion
The first two years are structured as a dedicated immersion track. You will already be a licensed attorney but inside the firm, you'll undergo what U.S. firms call an apprenticeship period: close mentorship from senior U.S. partners, immersion in American practice standards, and the methodical build-up of the capacity to support, and ultimately help lead, matters before U.S. courts, regulators, advisors, and clients (at all times under U.S.-licensed partner supervision, in line with applicable bar rules).
This foundation cannot be replicated in any parallel Israeli track.
Two Worlds, One Trajectory
Fortitude maintains extensive collaborations with high-tech and cybersecurity companies. For an attorney completing the immersion phase, this opens an unusual dual track, meaningful exposure to U.S. legal matters (under appropriate supervision), and substantive work alongside high-tech industry counsel and clients. The advantage of two distinct legal worlds in a single career path is rare, and it sits at the core of what this role offers.
Relocation
After the immersion phase, U.S. relocation is a real, structured pathway for candidates who pursue it. Not required at hiring, not automatically guaranteed a viable, defined route for those who want it.
Location & Hours
▪️ Office: Tel Aviv
▪️ Workday begins no earlier than 13:00 Israel time, aligned with U.S. Eastern Time business hours
▪️ Late finish - typically 22:00-00:00 Israel time, depending on workload and U.S. daylight savings
▪️ Mornings remain entirely yours!
Compensation
$50,000 – $70,000 USD annual base, commensurate with experience.
Threshold Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
▪️ Active member of the Israel or New York Bar
▪️ Native or near-native English - in writing, speech, and formal legal drafting
▪️ Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time hours from our Tel Aviv office
▪️ Hands-on, post-internship litigation experience
▪️ Openness to a potential future U.S. relocation (part of the long-term path; not a precondition at hiring)
A Note for U.S.-Admitted Attorneys
Candidates who are:
▪️ Admitted to the New York Bar - at any level of seniority, or
▪️ Admitted to another U.S. state bar with substantial, demonstrable litigation experience
are warmly encouraged to apply
Experience We're Looking For
Typical fit: 1-4 years of post-internship litigation experience.
We are deliberately flexible on practice area; quality of experience matters far more than a narrow specialty.
Strongly relevant backgrounds include:
▪️ Commercial litigation
▪️ Real estate
▪️ Insolvency and bankruptcy
▪️ High-tech and IP
▪️ Cyber
▪️ Economic/white-collar criminal law
