A well-established company within a group, providing consulting and professional services to the food industry, is looking for an Business Operations Lead to lead a small business unit.
This is a great opportunity for a manager from the food industry (QA/Regulation/Operations/BD) looking to take the next step into a broader leadership role with end-to-end responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of ~20 employees, including several experienced department managers
- Oversee day-to-day operations and overall business performance
- Take ownership of P&L and budget management
- Drive sales and business development activities (hands-on involvement)
- Build and execute annual plans, track performance, and improve profitability
- Work closely with key clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
- Support knowledge retention, team engagement, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Experience in the food industry
- Background in Quality Assurance / Regulatory / Food Safety – preferred
- >5 years of managerial or team leadership experience (including leading professionals or small teams)
- Strong business understanding and motivation to grow into a broader leadership role
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on
- Experience working with clients or stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree – required
- Good English
