Vice President of Products

A large government organization in the finance sector is seeking an experienced VP Product to lead the establishment and management of a centralized Product Division within the Technology Department.

The role includes defining product strategy, building product methodologies and standards, leading and mentoring Product Managers, and driving end-to-end product execution across complex, mission-critical platforms. The VP Product will work closely with executive leadership, Engineering, and UX/UI teams to ensure product alignment with organizational goals and measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Product Management function across the organization
• Define product methodologies, lifecycle processes, and unified standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers, including training and professional growth
• Own product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management
• Define KPIs and success metrics for product impact and value delivery
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX/UI, and executive leadership
• Drive execution across multiple complex, large-scale technology initiatives

Requirements

• 10+ years of Product Management experience, including leadership of complex products
• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS or enterprise products in large tech environments
• Experience managing and leading Product Managers and product teams
• Strong background in product strategy, roadmap ownership, and prioritization
• Experience working closely with R&D and UX/UI teams
• Proven ability to define KPIs and product success metrics
• Strong advantage for experience in government, finance, or regulated industries
• Experience in building product methodologies or training programs – advantage
• Experience working in multi-product, large-scale environments
• Strong leadership, execution, and stakeholder management skills

Additional Information

• Full-time position (190 monthly hours)
• Hybrid model (up to 2 remote days per week after onboarding)
• Security clearance required
• Initial engagement: up to 3 years
