Maintenance Manager

Datum Dental (part of Dentsply Sirona) – Yavne Site, Israel

Datum Dental is looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our medical device manufacturing facility in Yavne.

The Role

This position combines hands-on technical expertise with full responsibility for site maintenance activities in a regulated GMP and ISO 13485 environment. You will work closely with Engineering, Validation, Quality and Production to ensure reliable, compliant and continuous operation of cleanroom production equipment and critical utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the preventive and corrective maintenance program to ensure maximum equipment availability
• Maintain cleanroom production equipment and critical utilities including HVAC systems (pressure, temperature, humidity), purified water (PW), compressed air, electricity and CO₂ supply
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems (PLC / HMI / SCADA)
• Manage contractors and external service providers under cleanroom and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and GMP requirements, including controlled documentation of maintenance, calibrations and repairs
• Write and update SOPs, handle deviations, participate in investigations and implement CAPAs
• Support internal and external audits
• Collaborate with Validation teams to maintain validated status (IQ/OQ/PQ, re-validation) and manage Change Control processes
• Ensure proper separation between maintenance and production activities according to validation and cleanliness standards

Requirements

• Certified Electrician license – mandatory
• Proven maintenance management experience in a manufacturing plant – mandatory
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or pharmaceutical) – mandatory
• Hands-on troubleshooting capability in electrical and control systems
• Experience working with CMMS maintenance systems – mandatory
• Strong understanding of documentation, calibration, validation and change control processes
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Validation, Engineering and Production
• High availability, including off-hours support when required

Nice to Have

• Experience with cleanroom HVAC systems
• Experience with purified water systems (PW)
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, valves)
